Notgrass History is the only history curriculum my child wants to use. He feels this is a source he can trust because it is a complete historical view not a secular only view or biased to one religion. Straight forward from the historical records and God’s complete word.

The books are great! My fourth grader is really enjoying them and they are very colorful. Easy for him to read some of the text and I read some too. Takes us about 15-20 minutes to do a lesson.

These books are so colorful, thorough, yet gentle! I am so excited to use these with my three young children. I love that the hands-on projects look like things we will actually want to do together! I think my children and I will thoroughly enjoy learning about geography and history together. I hope Notgrass will offer audio options for all of their books in the future.

Our family loves Notgrass history. This was our first year using it. I have 2 high schoolers, 2 middle schoolers, and 2 elementary schoolers. Every age group loved it. They found it interesting, and I found that it challenged them and helped them progress in their schooling journey. I really enjoy the bundles because all the literature books are there and easy to grab and we never fall behind in our reading. The books really helped them understand the feelings of the people going through those periods of history. These history books make them understand that the people in history were real people just like we are. They are a part of history too. I also love the biblical discussion of the political decisions. For example, they spent a whole chapter discussing why the slavery in America was so different than slavery throughout the history of the world. It gave the clarification we all needed. We also loved the time it spent talking about the animals and geography of America. And a favorite was the time spent talking about steamboats! We cannot wait to do World History next year. It is well rooted in the bible which is my favorite part. I am so thankful I found this curriculum through an internet search.

We have used Notgrass History since we began homeschooling four years ago. We plan to continue using it until they graduate. We are very pleased with the worldview, the detail, and the inclusion of literature. We can trust this curriculum and are grateful a friend recommended it.
