Paid a lot of money for swim vests, and express shipping only to get one which was completely used. Full of sand in it, tag tied up and noticeably used and just repackaged. I paid extra for shipping to get in on time for my holiday and could not even take it with me, had to repurchase a different one from a store nearby. At the beginning they denied that it could be used and said there was no way it could be used and have sand in it and also that the tags are all tied up in that way (which they are not). This was very upsetting, implying that I am not telling the truth. Then after some back and forth we agreed that they refund me a portion of the vest. They however did not want to refund the express shipping I paid because it "arrived within the correct time frame" and because I had other items which arrived fine. They did not see that the inconvenience they caused me meant having to quickly purchase a different swim vest since i was travelling the following day. Also the other items would not have been purchased from there store at all if I had known the vest was in that used condition. I would have simply shopped elsewhere for all those items. Overall we came to a conclusion in the end but I am not that happy with the customer service.
Also all items should be thoroughly checked when returned by other customers so that this is avoided.
