We have been very pleased with the manner in which Global River Cruising have handled our booking.
We appreciated the support and help they gave us as a result of the British Airways failure and subsequent flight cancellation causing us to re-book.

This was the second time we have booked a river cruise through Global River Cruising and if we go for a third time, we will certainly go with Global as our agent again. They managed to get us in the cabin we wanted, on the boat we wanted, on the river we wanted, flying on the airline we wanted all at short notice and for a reasonable price. Everything was well organised and it all happened smoothly.
I enjoyed the cruise greatly but preferred our first cruise on the Danube to this one on the Rhine. It was the same cruise line and the same ship so I think it must be the places you visit and the activities that are better on the Danube with a schedule that seemed to fit better. AmaSonata is a beautiful ship, comfortable without being "flash". The crew provide first class service and the food is always excellent though with too many Asiatic touches.
My biggest problem now is where and when to go for a third cruise:)

The booking experience through Global River Cruise was absolutely fine. The river cruise itself was simply awful and we won't be booking another one. We won't be making a recommendation as we wouldn't advise any of our friends to book a river cruise at all.

Best holiday we have ever had. The ship, crew, food and service were all excellent. We will be booking again in the future
